HUB HOVE RESTAURANT & COFFEE BAR
HUB Hove is all about keeping it simple. HUB is owned by Elliott, Tess and Baby Ralph (he’s not quite up to working here yet).
Here is a bit about us and the restaurant
Elliott:
I Spent 8 years in Spain working my way up from steaming hot kitchens cutting mushrooms and peeling prawns to high management within a fantastic group of high end restaurants.
Then going on to open my first restaurant El Diner in Sotogrande.
After moving back to the UK in 2008 I worked for Café Rouge helping to open both North and South Gatwick Restaurants.
Then after searching and searching for the right place to buy and after a few places falling though we managed to find what we believe can be an amazing place in an amazing location.
Tess:
I have more than 10 years experience in the hospitality industry, in various countries, from my home of Sweden to Turkey and Spain where I met the wonderful Elliott (he made me say that).
I spend as much time in HUB as possible but with little Ralph around now he takes up most of my time. When I am there I will always do my best to make sure you having a fantastic time.
Ralph:
I cant really say too much as I’m only 4 months old, but I love HUB and the fact that it’s the Hardens Guide number 1 coffee shop in the UK for eating out with baby’s and toddlers helps.
HUB Hove: Our plan was to open a cozy, laid back restaurant serving fresh food at more than reasonable prices.
We wanted a place that was approachable. The kind of place we would like to hang out in: A modern, cozy, relaxed, yet sophisticated environment.
We are massive coffee fans and continue to use the amazing guys at www.smallbatchcoffee.co.uk for out freshly roasted coffee beans. We all know there is a massive influx of coffee shops in
Brighton and Hove, some commercial (boo) and some small and local like us (Yay), we know that we are up at the top of the coffee game, but we are so much more then just coffee.

All our food is as locally sourced as possible and daily fresh, we do our best to make sure that every dish we serve is as good as the first time it was made, We guarantee that you will find something that you love, weather it be from our brunch menu, like perfectly poached eggs served with chorizo and spinach to our homemade granola with exotic fruit and yoghurt. Our lunch is amazing too, in our opinion we have the best range of burgers anywhere around here, also wicked crispy fresh salads like classic cobb or the spiced squid and chili chick pea.
